Pricing and Payments

      Our pricing structure is determined by a variety of factors, including the services requested and the unique characteristics of each dog, such as breed, size, coat type, coat/skin condition, temperament, and any special handling requirements. Please note that any grooming prices provided in advance are only estimates and may be subject to change based on the groom's completion.

      To ensure a seamless payment process, all services must be paid in full when the grooming session is finished and the dog is ready for pickup. We accept various payment methods, including card payments, cash, check, and Venmo. However, it's important to be aware that card payments will incur a 4% service fee, which will be the responsibility of the client.

      We understand the need for flexible payment options and strive to accommodate our clients' preferences. Whether you choose to pay by card (with the additional service fee), cash, check, or Venmo, we are here to assist you in completing the transaction smoothly.

Cancelations or No Shows

      At Doggy Detail, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Therefore, we offer a cancellation policy that allows our valued customers to cancel their appointments or bookings within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time without incurring any penalties. We believe in providing flexibility and convenience to our clients, and we strive to accommodate their needs.

      To cancel your appointment or booking, please contact us at by phone or text at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. This allows us to adjust our schedule accordingly and offer the slot to other clients. In the event of a timely cancellation, any payments or deposits made will be fully refunded.

      Please note that cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment or booking may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of any deposits paid. This policy ensures that we can fairly manage our resources and provide quality service to all our customers.

Reschedule

      At Doggy Detail, we recognize that unexpected situations can arise, making it necessary for our customers to reschedule their appointments or bookings. We strive to provide flexibility and convenience, which is why we offer a rescheduling policy to accommodate your needs.

If you need to reschedule your appointment or booking, please contact our customer service team at us as soon as possible. We kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to ensure availability and avoid any inconvenience.

      We will do our best to accommodate your request and find an alternative date and time that suits your schedule. However, please note that rescheduling is subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee the immediate availability of alternative slots. In case we are unable to find a suitable alternative within the desired timeframe, we will work with you to find the next available option.

Matting and Shaving Policy

      At Doggy Detail, your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities. While accidents are rare, we acknowledge the inherent risks involved in handling animals.

These incidents often happen when a dog is wiggling, moving around, or resisting the grooming process. In the unlikely event that an accident does occur, we will promptly notify you. If deemed necessary and if the owner is not present, we will seek immediate veterinary care for your dog at the nearest veterinary clinic. Please be aware that as the owner, you will be responsible for covering all associated expenses.

      We take every precaution to ensure your dog's well-being, but in the event of an accident, we will notify you promptly. If necessary and in your absence, we will seek immediate veterinary care at the nearest clinic, with all expenses to be covered by the owner.

Aggressive Animal & Refusal of Services Policy

      At Doggy Detail, the safety of our groomers is of high importance. We kindly request that owners disclose any history of dangerous behavior exhibited by their dog. To ensure everyone's safety, we may utilize restraints such as muzzles during grooming services. If your dog's behavior compromises the safety of themselves or our groomers, we reserve the right to discontinue or skip stressful procedures.

       We also reserve the right to refuse services at any time. If your dog becomes too stressed or poses a risk that compromises the grooming process, we may refuse, stop, or cancel grooming services. In such cases, a fee will be charged for the services rendered up until that point.

      We prioritize the well-being of all animals and strive to create a safe environment for both our staff and your pet. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a positive and secure grooming experience.

Current Vaccinations

      To ensure the health and safety of all dogs in our care, we require that all dogs receiving our services be up to date on their core vaccinations. These core vaccinations include rabies, DHLPP, and while not a core vaccine, bordetella is highly recommended.

     We appreciate your cooperation in keeping your dog's vaccinations current. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our Current Vaccinations policy, please feel free to discuss them with us. Flea and Flea Prevention

       We kindly request that you ensure your dog is on a flea prevention program and thoroughly checked for any signs of fleas before bringing them to our studio. This policy helps us prevent infestations and maintain a hygienic space for all our clients.
